Grand Canyon

01. After a 2-hour drive down dirt roads and slickrock, we find outselves at Toroweap Overlook
02. From Toroweap Overlook, it's a mile straight down to the canyon floor. The white speck is a huge whitewater raft filled with tourists.
03. There are no railings or nets. An average of 2 people fall to their deaths every year at this overlook.

16. The volcanic soil in the foreground is what remains of a huge eruption that completely filled this part of the canyon with lava many eons ago.
