Beau Monday is currently managing the Information Security program at Hawaiian Telcom, the nation's ninth largest phone company. He has been in the IT field for well over 20 years, and has been focused on information security for more than 10 of those years. Prior to his current mission at HawaiianTel, Beau worked for Wells Fargo, T-Mobile USA, and at one time was managing the security operations for a global cloud-based SaaS provider. Various efforts to contribute to the common body of InfoSec knowledge include being an active contributor for Cloud Security Alliance’s security guidance, and he writes frequently on security matters at hisek.org and bmonday.com. Beau is SANS-trained and ISC²-certified, in addition to his formal degree in Finance. He lives in Honolulu with his fiancée.
